I am a PhD Candidate in Linguistics at the University of Victoria, Canada, with a passion for linguistic research, particularly in phonology and phonetics, as well as digital humanities-oriented applied linguistics research. My focus areas include pronunciation learning and academic and technical English.
With a background in Linguistics and English, as well as my current role as a Communications Coordinator, I bring a strong foundation in language analysis, teaching methodologies, and effective communication skills. My experience spans from being an Assistant Professor in Bangladesh to my recent role as a sessional instructor in Canada, as well as my current position as a Teaching Assistant, Editorial Assistant, and Researcher in Canada.
I am known for my enthusiasm, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as a team player. I thrive in innovative and problem-solving environments, which has allowed me to excel in both my teaching and research roles. Additionally, I possess basic knowledge of Python programming and HTML, which enhances my ability to engage in digital projects and communication.
I am also an exceptional writer and communicator, as evidenced by my academic papers and editorial work. My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as I actively participate in community development initiatives and have a strong background in project management.
I am seeking opportunities to leverage my linguistic expertise and teaching experience to make a positive impact in the field of language, education, and digital humanities research.
